The Brass Shop

 

“The Brass Shop” was originally constructed in 1876 and is amongst the oldest buildings in Charlottetown. The building is called “the Brass Shop” because during the railway era, the 2000 sq ft. island sandstone structure was used to polish the brass components on locomotives.

Receiver Coffee opened its second location in the Brass Shop on July 1st 2017. This bright, airy heritage space is accessible to all and offers a variety of seating options including a seasonal patio. With a breakfast and lunch menu that is locally minded and accommodates all dietary requirements you are in for a delicious experience.  There is a strong retail component of the shop for both freshly baked breads and roasted retail coffees as well as a wide selection of grab and go items. The Brass Shop is very accessible and offers full parking.

Milky Way

 

Receiver Coffee’s  Milky Way location is the home to our coffee roastery, organic artisanal bakery as well as a full service cafe. The concept is simple – fresh food, great coffee and terrific bread and pastries, Located at the Creamy Boardwalk, this shop is a necessary stop whether you are arriving in Charlottetown or leaving the city for adventure! 

The roastery is visible from the cafe so you can watch our roasters as they meticulously work to roast, package, and prepare our coffees for you!  With bags of beans stacked high and our roasters visible from all areas of the shop, the roastery really adds something special to this location.

The Milky Way is also home to the bakery that supplies our 4 locations with organic breads, pastries and other baked goods. Whether you are on the move and need a grab and go snack  or looking to relax, the Milky Way has all you need.

Our Cavendish location is the newest addition to the Receiver Coffee family! Located at the iconic Cavendish Boardwalk, This shop is a perfect place to stock up on coffee, coffee beans, breads, pastries, sweets and all sorts of local products to make your stay on Prince Edward Island complete!
